The Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort offers a variety of amenities including a spa, pool, beach access, and a range of dining options.
I first started coming to FessParker inn probably 40 yrs ago. The property renovation is nice. One significant objection. The hotel accepts pets but upon asking at the front desk, it seems that all rooms accepts pets. When entering the room, a large urine stain (I am assuming it is urine since it was on the carpet close to the slider to go outside). I have a dog but do not bring her to a hotel. But this is the risk the hotel takes is that pets will urinate (or worse) on the carpet. Is it really worth it to permit pets in the hotel at the risk of urine or feces in the room? At least limit the rooms that accepts pets so that future guests can choose a room where no animal has been. Guest services moved me to another room. Unbeknown to me, I mistakenly did not verify I was NOT speaking directly to hotel. I was promised an ocean view room, didn’t get it, but my acct was credited. The operator at “hotel reservations” outright lied to me abt who I was talking to. But it was NOT directly to Hilton reservations. Obviously a business decision for the hotel to permit reservations through a third party, but you shld know the one I got was not upfront with me about who they were and overcharging for a room when it was sold to me as a view room.
I wish I had known that the pool wasn’t available. If I had known I would have stayed elsewhere. That said, we were there with our puppy and the hotel is one of the most successful in pet friendliness. Alex Munoz, whose name I registered at the front desk, had difficulties returning to the hotel late at night. Finally, I would recommend expanding the bar area and the bar service to several tables in addition to the counter.
I spoke to front desk multiple times regarding cancelling our reservations due to evacuation issues and sickness. They kindly said they would cancel no fees. I’ve have recently received bill saying non refundable and I haven’t been there. I was there four nights. Happy to pay for those. Now charging us for additional ones even though I’ve cancelled and have names of front desk people. So unorganized and terrible how this has been handled.
Our room was roomy and well appointed.

We love the location of your resort. Thought I wold have a beach view, but I didn't, but received a partial view, which really was not a partial view. But overall, it was good.

Our rooms were gorgeous and fresh. The grounds were beautiful and the personnel were very accommodating and friendly. Visitors should be able to make reservations through the hotel itself. I was placed in a handicapped room by accident and then double booked.
